For this custom title sequence, I reimagined Across the Universe through a dreamlike visual journey created entirely in After Effects. Inspired by the film’s themes of love found, lost, and rediscovered, I used flowing motion, celestial imagery, and shifting space-and-time transitions to mirror the arc of the story. Paired with Fiona Apple’s ethereal cover, the sequence aims to transport viewers into a surreal state before the film even begins. The result sets the tone for an introspective, cosmic adventure rooted in connection and longing.
