This zine titled Material Matters invites the reader to take an honest look at the materials that make or break our clothes. Created as part of a larger campaign against fast fashion, I used typography exclusively to tell the story of five different materials and their cheaper synthetic counterparts. Through scale, texture, and typographic rhythm, each spread compares sustainability, durability, and feel, encouraging readers to slow down and engage with the information. The result is a visually driven narrative that balances education and advocacy, using design to highlight how material choices impact quality, longevity, and the future of our clothing.
